When I am not out exploring, drinking wine or sitting on the couch enjoying a cup of tea and dog snuggles you can find me planning events for Outdoor Project. I am working to launch Outdoor Project's new event series that will travel to eight cities across the West in 2017. The mission of the events is to bring together the outdoor industry and community in each city for a day of adventure inspiration, family fun, live music, good beer, and of course raising money for a local nonprofit.
I have lived and breathed event planning and community engagement for the past 6 years.
Outdoor Project's Summer Block Party Series 2017
Outdoor Project's Summer Block Party series is a way for Outdoor Project to connect consumers with their local outdoor industry. Creating a community that inspires adventure! Bringing together the outdoor community in each of the eight cities in 2017 allows for community growth and hopefully breaks down the barriers to get outdoors. Partnering with local breweries in each city, each event provides a space to get inspired for your next adventure, dance it out to local live music, and drink delicious beer all while supporting a local nonprofit. Come party with us. Check out this press release for more information!
Base Camp's Collabofest!
A festival that truly brings together the authenticity and creativity of Portland's beer scene. Collabofest brings together local Portland breweries, pairs them at random and debuts the collaboration brews at Collabofest every January. Each brewery pairing creates two different beers and attendees to the festival have a chance to have a taste of them all as they work their way through the Collabofest beer passport. Base Camp Brewing Company hosts the event in partnership with Travel Portland and kicks of Travel Portland's Beer Month! The icing on the cake, this event is family friends, dog friendly and you have a chance to get in on some human fussball games as well! In 2016 we had 16 breweries, 2 cideries and nearly 3,000 people attend the Second Annual Collabofest. This is by far my favorite event to create, build and I am looking forward to seeing it grow!
